Hazards and its safety measures for safe kitchen activity



Safety needs everywhere. Precaution is better than cure. In our daily life activities we face many hazardous situations. Weather we are working out side of house or in side. We need to be careful while working in house. Kitchen work is our need and also a hobby for many people. Kitchen is a place in house where we cook our food. Food is our basic need of life. When we enter in kitchen we face many hazardous things like knife, fire, height, slippery floors, domestic reptiles, bacterias etc.
Awareness about hazard is the only solution to reduce the risk. Here we are talking about the kitchen safety. So we will discuss about all the hazards which can be dangerous and if we will not any precautions then severe accident can happen any time. Below are the hazards and its safety measures:

·         Fire: Fire is main hazard in kitchen so we should to do direct contact with it. We should monitor the flame height and it must be use at the time of need. We should not wear loose clothes and fire extinguisher must be placed in kitchen for emergency,

·         Hot Pots: Hot pots and other crockery should be handled with cure. Hot crockery can cause burning so we should wear gloves.

·         Knife: Knives and cutters are commonly used and it can cut our fingers, hand etc so we should be very careful while using it.

·         Wet floor: Floor of kitchen often wet so the chance of slips and falls are very high. In this case we must dry the floors.

·         Wooden Cabinets: Wooden cabinets are located in heights so there is a chance of fall. We should use safe stools or benches in order to over come the fallen hazard.

·         Domestic Reptiles and Insects: Kitchen always should be net and clean all the time in order to avoid unhygienic environment. The insects and reptiles could bite directly human so it must be ensured to clean the kitchen.
